This book is a collection of traditional stories and myths from the Chicontepec region in Veracruz, Mexico, gathered by the author during his field work, and re-edited as a literary text, though with the characteristics of Nahua orality preserved. The author is vice-director of the IDIEZ and a member of the project “Europe and America in Contact”. He teaches Nahuatl in Mexico and in the USA, and he is finalizing his Master's degree at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas.
